In this type of visa, you cannot stay more than the period sponsored by the government. While you are on this student visa, you can work for twenty hours per week and you can bring your dependent along with you while you study in Australia.
Postgraduate Research Sector visa (subclass 574)
This is a very specific student visa that is valid until the date that was granted to you. What you can do with this visa is you can study, bring your family members, and work and even your family members can work too. The best part about the visa is that your partner can work for up to three months. You should comply with all the rules and regulations as per the laws. For instance, if you want to change your course of study, you will have to get in touch with the home office and they will assist with all the visa changes and requirements. Student Guardian (subclass 590)
This is a specific type of visa that’s just for the guardian who wants to be there and provide support to visa holders who are under eighteen years of age. It is only a temporary visa that will help you be with your dependent till the completion of your studies. This is for the guardians or parents of the visa holder who want to stay in Australia with them. In this case, you must show proof that you are the relative of the student, be it parents, custodian, etc. Then, you need to show that you have enough funds to support yourself while in the country, health insurance, and many others.
